To pursue further training he went to USA, where he completed residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Then he did his superspeciality in Hematology & Medical Oncology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, USA. He was on the faculty at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

Education and Training : Dr Chandana Vemuri completed her medical degree at Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada in 2006 where she graduated with honours. She pursued her residency in General Surgery at Andhra Medical College, King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam in 2016 followed by M.Ch Surgical Oncology at the World-renowned Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai in 2017-2020. Throughout her 3 years of rigorous training, Dr Chandana demonstrated a passion for oncology and a commitment to advancing her surgical skills in the fight against cancer. After pursuing a degree in surgical oncology she served at prestigious cancer Hospitals like Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital(Mumbai), Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre(Visakhapatnam) and American Oncology Institute, Guntur.
Clinical Expertise : Dr Chandana specializes in the surgical management of various cancers, including breast, Thyroid, Oral(Mouth), Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Thoracic, Skin and soft tissue sarcomas. In her 10 years of surgical experience, She has performed nearly 2000 surgeries of which the major portion are breast cancers. She has a special interest in breast-conserving and breast oncoplastic surgeries.
